JPY Associates
Limited was founded in 1982 by Dr John Yardley, who
previously headed up software development in the Speech
Recognition Group at the National Physical Laboratory,
Teddington. In 1991, JPY Associates Ltd became JPY Ltd, and
in 2000 became JPY plc.
Starting originally as a firm of consultants in
high-performance networks and operating systems, JPY began
to specialise in the publishing industry in 1989. Since
that time, JPY has built a reputation as one of the leading
suppliers and designers of systems for high-performance
graphics workflow.
JPY has special technical expertise in the areas of
networking, file transfer, workflow and messaging. In 1998,
JPY’s "spoofing" AppleTalk router designs were
adopted for use by 3Com Inc as part of their hugely
successful OfficeConnect Router range.
JPY concentrates on server-based workflow solutions,
typically supporting 10 or more client Macintosh or PC
workstations. For small to medium enterprise (SME)
customers requiring hardware, JPY works through a channel
of resellers. For larger corporate clients, JPY works
directly with IT departments.
MRX was developed
by JPY to meet their mail management needs in a very busy
customer environment that includes sales, marketing,
inventory control, invoicing and software support. For more
details on JPY, visit our website.
