Who needs MRX?

MRX is all about collaborative working. Its server-based architecture sets it apart from client-based add-ons for workstations, which are great for one-man bands, but useless for workgroups.

MRX is tailor made for any situation where customer email might be dealt with by different departments. For example, if a customer was refusing to pay the accounts department because of a faulty product, the accounts department could easily trace the thread of earlier correspondence. No more running to somebody else’s desk to try to find an important email. No more stumbling on personal emails you never wanted to see.

MRX maximises the use of the shared contact directory by providing a server-based email merge. Unlike, client-based products, it allows groups of employee to collaborate on a personalised mailings – perhaps different employees creating different sections.

In summary, MRX is suited to organisations that have one or more of the following requirements:

• Single, shared address book
• Shared access to organisational mail
• Automatic archiving of all incoming and outgoing mail
• Threading of mail by job
• Integration with existing mail server
• Generation of personalised high-quality emailshots
• Legal obligation requirement to archive mail

Although MRX is designed for both Macintosh and Windows workstations, it is particularly attractive to Macintosh users who have no facility to work from a centralised address book. MRX also allows Macintosh users to synchronise its contact directory with a local OS X address book.
